More about us

The IVSA SCOH Gazette is a vital initiative aimed at directly addressing the need for in-depth education on under-discussed global health issues through the lens of One Health principles. The project delivers monthly content directly to IVSA members and the general public interested in One Health topics, utilizing a structured format that allows for a comprehensive exploration of diverse topics taking into account feedback and suggestions from readers.

The Gazette, curated by a team of dedicated data and research analysts, incorporates multimedia elements to enhance engagement and understanding. Its accessibility via a dedicated site and dissemination on IVSA's social media platforms ensures a broad reach, encouraging community participation and collaboration.

This project goes beyond traditional educational platforms, providing a unique space for readers to actively contribute to the content's development and propose topics that resonate with their interests. The team who supervises coordination is dedicated to ensuring the highest editorial standards, hence the gazette becomes a dynamic resource that adapts to emerging global health issues promptly.

As a two-way communication channel, the project welcomes feedback, fostering a collaborative environment where readers are not just passive recipients but active contributors to the ongoing dialogue surrounding critical One Health matters.

The IVSA SCOH's monthly Gazette is poised to be a cornerstone in the collective effort to elevate awareness, knowledge, and engagement on the intricate facets of global health.

The Standing Committee on One Health (SCOH) aims to promote the importance of One Health, an approach that recognises that the health of people, animals, and the environment are interdependent and cannot be addressed in isolation.
